For a walk out in the country (without having to loop a whole county) there are many pleasing walks in the open country available, and plenty of books suggesting routes. We are building a selection of favourites too.
There are also village walks, suitable for families and lone wanderers, exploring the nooks and crannies of a single village or a group of villages, or going all round the parish boundary. A number of pleasant parish boundary walks have been devised, and what better way to embrace your village?
