Location: 82° 34' 59" S 52° W
running NE-SW at c.800m, N of Czamanske Ridge (q.v.), Dufek Massif, Pensacola Mountains, and leading into Tranquillity Valley, was photographed from the air by the United States Navy in 1964; following field work by the United States Geological Survey from 1965, so named in association with the valley and because, in the 1976-77 season, a note of welcome from a United States Geological Survey party to a Soviet party was left in a helicopter cache, established by the Soviet Antarctic Expediation in the previous season.
