Location: 71° 24' S 68° W
flowing E into George VI Sound between Fossil Bluff and Waitabit Cliffs, E Alexander Island, was roughly surveyed by the British Graham Land Expedition in October 1936; photographed from the air by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition in 1947 and further surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from 'Stonington Island', 1948-49; in association with the names of planets in this area, named after Uranus; mapped over its length by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in 1959 from the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition air photographs.
