British Antarctic Territory

Location: 62° 14' 44" S 58° 39' 28" W
between Potter Cover and Stranger Point, King George Island, was named Península Potter by the Argentine Antarctic Expedition in association with the cove. Potter Peninsula, following geological work by the British Antarctic Survey, 1975-76. The peninsula was designated SSSI No. 13 under the Antarctic Treaty.
