Location: 64° 18' 28" S 56° 42' 31" W
SE coast of Seymour Island, was possibly sighted by Ross in 1843; roughly charted by Larsen in November 1893 and called Cap Seymour, in association with the island; surveyed by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition in January 1902 and named Pinguinenkap because of a large penguin rookery found there; surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from 'Hope Bay' in 1946 and 1952.
