
Pacific Point

Location: 56° 16' 60" S 27° 35' 29" W
NW coast of Zavodovski Island, between Acrid Point and Reek Point, was charted by Discovery Investigations in 1930 and named descriptively Low Point. The feature was re-named Pacific Point after the American schooner Pacific (Capt. James Brown), from which in 1830 the second recorded landing was made on Zavodovski Island (q.v.).
