Location: 60° 34' 59" S 45° 28' 59" W
highest mountain (1265m) on Coronation Island, at head of Sunshine Glacier, was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Signy, 1948-49, and named after the snow petrel (Pagodroma nivea) which breeds in this locality; resurveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Signy, 1956-58, and climbed, 11 September 1956.
