
Mount Hassage
(Orville Coast)

Location: 75° 50' 48" S 72° W
rising to 1120m W of Hauberg Mountains, Orville Coast, was seen from the air by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition, 21 November 1947, and named after Charles Hassage, Chief Engineer in the the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition ship Port of Beaumont. The mountain was surveyed on the United States Geological Survey Antarctic Peninsula Traverse, 1961-62, and following air photography by the United States Navy, 1965-67, mapped from air photographs by the United States Geological Survey.
