British Antarctic Territory

Location: 67° 26' 54" S 67° 46' 36" W
between Rothera Point, Adelaide Island, and Cape Sáenz, Loubet Coast, extending N to Barlas Channel and Hinks Channel, was roughly charted by the French Antarctic Expedition, 1908-10, in January 1909 and named Fiord Laubeuf after Maxime Laubeuf, French marine engineer who supervised building the engine of the French Antarctic Expedition expedition ship Pourquoi-Pas?. The fjord was surveyed by the British Graham Land Expedition in July 1936. The fjord was resurveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from 'Stonington Island' in 1948.
