British Antarctic Territory

Location: 60° 36' S 46° 4' 59" W
three islands (including Monroe Island, q.v.) and off-lying rocks (including Nicolas Rocks, q.v.), NW of Sandefjord Bay, Coronation Island, were roughly charted by Powell and Palmer in December 1821; further charted by Sørlle in 1912 and named C.A. Larsen [sic] after Capt. C.A. Larsen (Larsen Inlet, q.v.). The islands were further charted by Discovery Investigations in 1933. The log of the German Antarctic Expedition, 1873-74, recording a landing made on 10 February 1874.
