Location: 84° 1' 59" S 56° W
rising to c. 1840m at S end of Neptune Range, Pensacola Mountains, was surveyed from the ground by the United States Geological Survey and photographed from the air by the United States Navy, 1963-64; named after Capt. Francis M. Gambacorta, the United States Navy, commanding USS Wyandot during establishment of 'Ellsworth Station', summer 1956-57.
