Location: 83° 57' 38" S 56° 51' 26" W
rising to 1455m S of Jones Valley, Neptune Range, Pensacola Mountains, was surveyed from the ground by the United States Geological Survey, 1963-64, and photographed from the air by the United States Navy in 1964; named after Cdr James Elliott, the United States Navy, commanding the icebreaker USS Staten Island during the establishment of 'Ellsworth Station', 1956-57.
