Location: 64° 19' 36" S 59° 52' 37" W
flowing S into Larsen Ice Shelf, W of Sobral Peninsula, Nordenskjöld Coast, was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from 'Hope Bay', 1960-61; in association with the names of pioneers of overland mechanical transport grouped in this area, named after Richard Lovell Edgeworth (1744-1817), inventor of the 'portable railway', the first track-laying vehicle, in 1770.
