Location: 64° 34' 3" S 62° 51' 6" W
rising to c. 1150m at NE end of Osterrieth Range, Anvers Island, was sighted by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition in February 1898; following the cruise of HMS Snipe (Capt. J.G. Forbes, RN) in January 1948, named after Sir Miles Clifford (Clifford Glacier, q.v.). The peak was photographed from the air by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition in 1956.
