British Antarctic Territory

Location: 64° 50' 10" S 62° 58' 58" W
between Lemaire Island and Bryde Island, Danco Coast, was roughly charted by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition in February 1898; following the usage of whalers, so named in association with Bryde Island (q.v.) by BAE, 1920-22. The channel was photographed from the air by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition in 1956-57.
