Location: 64° 2' 1" S 61° 57' 53" W
rising to 850m in Liège Island and including Pavlov Peak and Mount Vesalius, were roughly mapped by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition on 25 January 1898 and named Monts Brugmann after Georges Brugmann of Brussels, Belgian banker and a patron of the expedition. The mountains were photographed from the air by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition in 1956-57.
