Location: 72° 10' 14" S 74° 6' 44" W
NW entrance point of Bach Inlet, SW Alexander Island, was photographed from the air by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition in December 1947; following map compilation from the air photographs by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in 1959, named after Hector Berlioz (1803-69), French composer, in association with the names of other composers in this area.
