flowing NE into Bowman Inlet, Bowman Coast, was photographed from the air by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition, 22 December 1947; roughly surveyed from the ground by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in November 1960; named after the god Apollo, in association with other names in this area taken from Greek mythology.
